Q: When do rehearsals start for Spring 2026?

A: Each Sunday. We generally follow the academic year schedule of the area public/private schools.
Q: When do rehearsals end for the semester?
A: Our final rehearsal of the year will be Sunday, April 19, including a 6:30 performance at Trinity Presbyterian Church, which is then followed by an end-of-season pizza party for singers and their families at the Nabholz home.
Q: How much does it cost to be a member?'
A: $30 for a performance uniform shirt. We use the same shirt from year to year, so you will only need to purchase a new one if you outgrow the first one you buy! All music is provided by our host congregation, Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Q: How old do I have to be to join?
A: Ages 12 - 19 are eligible. Occasional exceptions will be made for 11 year olds, depending on when their birthday falls.
Q: How often does the MCYC perform?
A: Generally 2-to-4 performances per semester.
Q: Are there any major events planned for this spring semester?
A: March 13-15 we will be traveling to Augusta, Georgia to participate in a Youth Choir Festival with approximately 150 other teen singers. [There will be an $8 charge for the Festival T-shirt.]
Q: Can parents travel to that Festival?
A: Yes, however we cannot guarantee complimentary transportation or housing for parents.
Q: Can parents and grandparents sit in on a rehearsal?
A: Absolutely! We love it when family visits a rehearsal!
